It is estimated that tens of millions of feral and stray cats freely roam the streets of the United States and breed rapidly! We are in an overpopulation crisis; doing nothing is not an option.
Trap/neuter/return is the only humane option to reduce the number of homeless cats.
*Attention Town of Fishkill residents; spay/neuter vouchers are available for purchase for $37.50 at Fishkill Town Hall (807 Route 52 in Fishkill), while supplies last. This is a community program budgeted by the Town Board and there are a limited number of vouchers available. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Stray H.E.L.P. clinic located in Fishkill. Services included in the voucher program are the spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, ear cleaning and nail trim. Additional services can be purchased. Town of Fishkill Residents only.
Did you know?
A female cat can have at least 2 litters per year, averaging 4 to 6 kittens per litter, and she can get impregnated by more than one tom cat at a time.
Female cats can become impregnated as young as four months old.
Stray H.E.L.P. is committed to helping the community gain access to affordable spay or neuter for pets as well as community cats. We thank The Animal Rights Alliance, Inc (T.A.R.A.) for partnering with Stray H.E.L.P. once a month and Trinity Episcopal Church for hosting this vital program on their property.
